Dr Carolyn Foggett is retiring. Dr Foggett has been at GP partner in Trowbridge for 30years. Initially she worked at the Widbrook Surgery and then became a partner at Trowbridge Health Centre as part of the merger process. She will be returning to work for us on a regular basis in 2021.
We will also be saying goodbye to Dr Penny Davies who will be leaving the practice at the end of 2020. We wish her all the best.
We are pleased to welcome Drs Alice Beech, Helen Ryan & Jodie Stevenson to the practice. All starting in January 2021
We have 2 Clinical Pharmacists who deal with medication queries from patients and the practice team. they also carry out medication reviews and are keen to help patients get the most out of their medicines so that they understand why they take them and know how to take them efficiently. They are also involved in prescription protocols and generally supporting the practice in medication-related issues.

The local Midwives will co-ordinate your care during your pregnancy, right from the moment you discover you are expecting.
Please contact Trowbridge Birth Centre within one month of discovering you are pregnant. They can be contacted on 01225 711314, Monday to Thursday between 09:00 and 12:00.

You do not need to see a GP to confirm you are pregnant unless you have concerns you wish to discuss.
Health Visitors are qualified nurses, with special training and experience in child health, health promotion and education. They offer practical support and health advice in many situations, including child development, nutrition, sleep issues and behaviour management in the under 5’s.
Normally the Health Visitors will see your child at the following intervals:
- Following birth, at home, between 10-14 days with follow up support if needed
• At 9-11 months
• At 2 years

She will visit patients at home to assess the patients’ needs and agree treatment plans and care packages with both the patient and other agencies, to enable the patient to be cared for at home where possible.

Gabby is a qualified nurse who supports our doctors with the care of those patients who are over 75 and particularly those at risk of admission to hospital. She will visit patients at home to assess the patients’ needs and agree treatment plans and care packages with the patient and other agencies, to enable the patient to be cared for at home where possible.
